A mixed-media accessory from the Japanese brand Top Studio for the large Formula 1 model of the Williams FW14B in 1:12 scale. The set focuses on the RS3C powerplant in its early specification and replaces the simplified kit parts with convincing components. It is not a model in its own right.
It combines turned and cast parts, photo-etched metal plates, hoses and decals for a detailed rendition of the engine block, its fittings, the plumbing and the connections. The engine becomes a realistic centerpiece of the model.
The set is meant for experienced modelers. Clean the parts up where the gates were, wash the mold release agent off the resin and glue them with super glue. We recommend painting with an airbrush and giving the materials a suitable primer.
