A sheet of decals in 1:24 scale for a model of the De Tomaso Pantera in the racing form from Le Mans 1972 with race number 31. An accessory for a finished kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The De Tomaso Pantera is an Italian sports car with the engine mounted behind the crew and a body of sharp, angular shapes. In racing form it was given wider fenders, additional cooling and a conspicuous color scheme, so it differs at first glance from the road version. This sheet relates to the form from Le Mans 1972 with race number 31.
Decals for a model in 1:24 scale: race numbers, lettering and insignia belonging to the racing form given. The extent of the sheet, the position of the individual elements and the kit they are prepared for are given in the manufacturer's documentation enclosed with the package. The sheet is an accessory for a finished kit; the colored areas of the body are applied with paint and the decals only add the markings.
Prepare the surface smooth and glossy; on a matte area a decal will fog. Cut the element out together with its paper, immerse it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to slide. Then slide it into place, draw the excess water off and settle the joint with a decal softener, so the element follows the edges. Before you soak the sheet, however, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined. Finally, go over the finished markings with varnish.
The car kit, the paints, the decal softener and the varnish are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
