Responsibility details are not available.
The Dassault MD.450 Ouragan was the first French jet fighter to reach series production. It came about shortly after the Second World War, when the French aviation industry was getting back on its feet, and its shape gives that away: a short fuselage with a straight wing, an air intake right in the nose and a single jet engine. Beside the later swept and supersonic types the Ouragan looks like a machine from another age, and that is exactly why it is a rewarding representative of the first postwar period in a display case.
The model in 1:144 scale is small; the finished aircraft fits in the palm of a hand. That is precisely why this scale is popular for collections that aim at a survey of types, and for display cases where there is no room for large models. The number of parts and the contents of the package are given in the manufacturer's description and instructions.
In kits of this scale the parts are small, so tweezers, a sharp blade and a dry assembly before gluing all pay off. Cut the excess material off a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Use a glue intended for the material of the parts. When painting with an airbrush, thin the paint more than in the large scales: a heavy coat at this scale blinds the fine surface detail. Check the joints of the fuselage against the light, because at a small scale every gap shows up particularly well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, the glue and thinners are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The contents of the package are given in the manufacturer's description.
