This is a resin detail accessory from Quickboost, not an aircraft model. The set replaces the plastic engine air intakes with more faithfully cast resin parts with a hollowed throat, which improves the impression of depth and removes the need to glue halved parts together. Intended for models of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot attack aircraft in 1:48 scale.
The Sukhoi Su-25, known under the NATO reporting name Frogfoot, is a single-seat attack aircraft for close support of ground forces. The side air intakes for the engines are among its prominent features and sit in plain view on a model, so refining them pays off.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks and clean up the edges of the throat. Wash and degrease the resin before gluing. Bond with cyanoacrylate. Spray the inside of the throat before fitting the part, so that the paint reaches the full depth.
This is an accessory intended for further work. Glue, paints and the base model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
