Endkampf, Jaeger, 9. FJ Division, Berlin 1945 is a kit figure in 1:35 scale with the subject of a member of a German parachute division in the fighting for Berlin.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure in 1:35 scale from a range devoted to the close of the fighting for Berlin in the spring of 1945. The subject is a member of a German parachute division, that is a Fallschirmjäger unit, which at this stage of the war fought as ground infantry. It is not a kit of equipment, nor a finished painted figure, but an item to assemble and paint. Scale 1:35 matches the most widespread size of military equipment models.
The 9th Parachute Division was among the units deployed in the area of Berlin in April 1945. For a modeler it is interesting above all because the equipment of parachute units differs from that of ordinary infantry, which sets the figure apart from the usual subjects. Check the particular items of equipment and the armament on the box.
Before building, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. Cut off the mold seams and the casting remains with a sharp knife and sand them with fine paper; on figures they are most visible across the shoulders and the legs. Try the assembly dry. Apply a base coat before painting. Build the uniform by layering, that is a base shade, a darker wash into the folds and a lighter highlight on the edges. Paint the face last in thin coats. Suggest the dust from the rubble with a restrained pigment on the boots and the lower part of the clothing, and unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
