Responsibility details are not available.
The fifth volume of the Extreme Reality pictorial series from the company AK interactive. It is a printed publication meant for looking at and studying, that is reference material for modelers, not a kit or instructions for building a particular model. The subtitle suggests what the volume is about: the beauty of old, worn and weather-beaten surfaces.
The whole Extreme Reality series is built on a look at the real world. Rust, flaking paint, weathered wood, concrete, dust and the traces of long use look different in reality from the way one remembers them, and that is exactly why it pays for modelers to have a pictorial reference to hand. From reality one can judge where dirt collects and where rain washes it away, how a coat changes tone as it fades, or where corrosion appears sooner than elsewhere. Check the particular arrangement of the chapters, the number of pages and the language of the edition in the imprint of the book.
You will get the most out of such a publication by having it open right at the workbench. Before you reach for a wash or a pigment, compare the intended effect with a photograph of a real surface and only then choose the tone and the strength of the work. It serves just as well when planning a diorama, where the age of the equipment, the buildings and the surrounding terrain have to be brought together into one believable whole.
This is a printed publication. It is not a kit, a model or a modeling product, and none of those are included in the package.
