The parts are 3D printed, fully colored and supplied on decal paper: the instrument panel, the side consoles, the levers and the switches with fine relief. The set is intended for Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 models in 1:48 scale. The parts are shaped to fit the Tamiya kit.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 was among the most heavily produced versions of this German fighter. It was powered by the BMW 801 radial engine and the aircraft stood out for its rugged construction and heavy armament. The tight single-seat cockpit with its characteristic instrument layout makes an interior set a rewarding accessory.
The parts release in water like a decal, but once off the paper they behave more like pre-colored flexible details. They are applied to cleaned cockpit surfaces, and small elements can be secured with a drop of cyanoacrylate. Tweezers, good lighting and a dry test of the placement all pay off.
