This is a colored interior decal set for a model of the F-15 in 1:32 scale in the small version, intended according to its name for early F-15C, F-15A and early F-15J aircraft. Small version is a designation from the product name and distinguishes it from the full set of the same subject. It is not a model and not a kit but an accessory for finished, painted parts. The target kit is Tamiya.
The F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine single-seat fighter with a large wing area and a pair of vertical tails. The A version is the original single-seat form, the C its later development and the F-15J the licensed Japanese variant. The early cockpit has a different instrument layout from the later form, which is why the sets are divided into early and late.
The basis is a smooth and gloss surface. Coat the painted part with gloss clear and let it dry thoroughly. Release the decal after about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water, move it into place, line it up and blot the water away. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin and ruin the part; do not touch the part until it is dry. Seal the finished interior with a clear coat in the degree of sheen you choose.
The set replaces the flat parts of the kit: instead of suggested relief you get a colored surface with a three-dimensional impression, and painting the smallest details is no longer needed. Degrease the plastic before applying and level any coarser relief so that the decal beds down without bubbles.
The set is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. Paints, glue and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
