This is a masking set, not a kit of an airplane. Kabuki tape is a thin paper masking tape that shapes well, holds even on curves and leaves no adhesive on the surface when lifted. The BASIC level is the lowest in the range that this maker builds for the same aircraft. The ADVANCED and EXPERT levels are also made, and the exact contents of the individual levels should be checked on the box of the set.
The Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules is a four-engine turboprop transport aircraft and the newest development branch of the Hercules family. It can be told from the older versions by its propellers with a greater number of blades. The glazing of the pilot's station is extensive and broken up, so masking is one of the most time-consuming steps on a model of the Hercules.
Wash and degrease the glazing, and do not touch the clear parts with your fingers. Transfer the masks with tweezers, offer them up dry first and then press the edges down with a blunt tool. Seal the edges with a thin coat of the interior color, and only then spray the exterior shade, in several thin coats. Lift the mask while the paint is fresh and only dry to the touch. Wipe off any residue of adhesive with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol, away from the surface of the clear part.
The set contains masking parts only. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
