This is a masking set, not a kit of an airplane. Kabuki tape is a thin paper masking tape that holds even on curves and leaves no adhesive on the surface when lifted. The EXPERT level is the highest in the range that this maker builds for one type, and it complements the BASIC and ADVANCED levels. What the individual levels contain should be checked on the box of the set.
The Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules is a four-engine turboprop transport aircraft, the newest development branch of the Hercules family. It differs from the older versions in its powerplant, its propellers with a greater number of blades and its upgraded pilot's station. The extensive glazing and the large areas of the fuselage make masking a substantial part of the work on this model.
Wash and degrease the glazing, and do not touch the clear parts with your fingers. Transfer the masks with tweezers, offer them up dry and then press the edges down with a blunt tool, on large parts in sections. Seal the edges with a thin coat of the interior color and only then spray the exterior shade in several thin coats. Lift the mask while the paint is fresh. With more extensive sets, plan the order of painting in advance so that you do not have to mask the same place twice.
The set contains masking parts only. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
