Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a glued plastic model but a kit of plastic bricks from the brand COBI. The parts snap together, so the model is built without glue, filler or paints, following a picture instruction sheet step by step. The finished machine is firm and can be put straight on display. Check the number of parts, the dimensions and the contents of the package on the box.
The V-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor developed by the companies Bell and Boeing. At the wingtips it carries two large rotor nacelles that tilt: with them upright the machine takes off and lands like a helicopter, and once they are tipped forward it flies like a turboprop aircraft, that is faster and farther than a conventional helicopter. The wing and the rotor blades are designed to fold so that the machine takes up as little room as possible aboard a ship. It is precisely the tilting nacelles that are the most striking feature the kit captures.
You work through the enclosed instructions, with nothing cut or sanded. Prepare the parts step by step so that the small components do not get lost, and build on a light surface. On a model with movable nacelles it pays to check once built that both sides are folded the same and symmetrically. The finished model only needs dusting with a soft brush from time to time.
The kit is supplied unassembled. Glue and paints are not needed, as the parts join mechanically.
