A metal refueling probe for the Avro Vulcan 1:144

A turned metal in-flight refueling probe intended for a model of the British bomber Avro Vulcan in 1:144 scale. It replaces the plastic part of the kit with a stronger and more accurate metal version.

The probe for taking on fuel on the nose of the Vulcan is prone to damage in plastic. The metal version machined on a lathe holds its shape and its fine detail. You remove the original part and glue the metal replacement in its place.
