1:144 turned metal barrels for aircraft models rescue the most delicate part of the whole miniature. At this size the styrene barrel is thinner than a pin and often bent on the sprue, while a machined part with a drilled muzzle reads correctly even under a loupe. Beside the barrels you will find pitot tubes and refuelling probes for jets destined for the display case.
