Brengun 1:144 B-29 Superfortress engines is a resin set of engines for models of the B-29 bomber. A refining accessory, not a whole model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set in 1:144 scale from the Czech maker Brengun. It contains finely cast radial engines for models of the American B-29 Superfortress bomber. It is not a whole model of the airplane but a refining accessory that replaces the simplified parts from the kit.
The B-29 Superfortress was a four-engine long-range bomber of the late Second World War, powered by the powerful Wright R-3350 radial engines. The engine nacelles and the fronts of the engines are among the most closely watched details, so resin parts markedly raise the fidelity even at a small scale.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off carefully; do any sanding with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once a primer has been applied, pick the cylinders out with a dark metallic shade and light dry-brushing; a dark shading wash will support the impression of depth.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
