An injection molded plastic kit of the classic Boeing 707-124 jet airliner in the colors of Continental Airlines, in 1:144 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer X-Scale. Besides the plastic parts, the package contains a decal sheet and masking templates. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Boeing 707 was one of the first successful jet airliners and fundamentally accelerated the development of long-haul air transport. The -124 version was delivered to several Continental Airlines machines, and the decals reproduce the livery from the end of the 1950s, when these aircraft were entering service. The finely recessed panel lines correspond to a modern standard of tooling.
Apply primer before painting; the smooth surfaces of the fuselage call for careful filling and sanding of the joints. Apply metallic and gloss surfaces with an airbrush onto a smooth base. Mask the cockpit glazing with the enclosed templates and apply the decals onto gloss clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
