The Boeing 314 Clipper was one of the largest aircraft of its day — a four-engined flying boat that first flew in 1938 and flew with Pan Am from 1939. It was the first commercial aircraft able to cross the Atlantic without an intermediate stop and it served the transatlantic and transpacific Clipper routes. Only 12 were built (among them the Yankee Clipper and the Dixie Clipper).
It is worth building the model in subassemblies and testing the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a good thin cement for plastic, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
