It is not a kit or a part but an accessory that sets a model apart from the basic version out of the box. The C-130H is one of the main production versions of the four-engined turboprop Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport. The machine has a high-set wing, sturdy landing gear and a cargo ramp at the tail, thanks to which it manages the loading of bulky cargo. The Belgian Air Force operated Herculeses for decades, and anniversary finishes on them were among the striking sights at air shows.
The basis is a glossy surface. Overcoat the painted model with a gloss clear varnish, otherwise air will be trapped under the decal and a silvered edge will appear around the motif. Cut the decal out closely to the edge of the print, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and leave it to stand until it begins to slide freely. Once it is transferred into place, blot the surplus water away and use a decal softener, so the motif beds into the engraved lines and over any unevenness. Finally seal the whole model with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, which evens the surface out and hides the edges of the film.
