It is intended for building a plastic model of the narrow-body Airbus A320neo airliner in 1:144 scale and refines the features that injection-molded plastic can only manage in simplified form in such a small scale. The specific contents of the package are stated on the box of the set.
Accessories of this kind in 1:144 scale concentrate on the parts that in plastic are either too thick or missing altogether, that is on fine features of the skin, the linings of the landing gear bays, small aerials, sensors and windows. The effect on airliners is more marked than you would expect in such a small scale: a glossy airline finish brings out every sharp detail and, conversely, shows up a coarsely molded part without mercy.
The Airbus A320neo is the updated version of the narrow-body A320 airliner for short and medium routes. The neo designation stands for a new engine option: the type received a new generation of engines and Sharklet wingtip devices, which lowered both fuel consumption and noise. It entered regular service in the second half of the 2010s and today is among the most widespread types in civil aviation.
Separate the small parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and glue them with superglue applied in the smallest possible quantity, as any excess leaves a matte mark on gloss paint. Plan the work so that the accessories come before the final coat and the decals. If the set contains photo-etched metal parts, degrease them and prime them before painting.
