A set of five resin drums of 200 liters capacity in 1:144 scale. It is not a model of a vehicle but a small diorama accessory, with which you populate an airfield apron, a store or a military scene. The drums are supplied unpainted. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Metallic Details.
Two-hundred-liter drums are a universal feature of fuel and storage facilities. At the small 1:144 scale they fill out the sense of scale of a whole scene and give it credibility around models of aircraft or vehicles.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut any casting blocks off. Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush or a brush; a realistic look is given by rust, rubbed edges and dirt created with washes and pigments. The lower end of a drum tends to be dealt with separately or with the enclosed film.
This is a diorama accessory. The paints and the glue are not included in the package.
