Heinkel He 111 H-16/H-20 1:144 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the German medium bomber from Roden with two camouflage schemes.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German twin-engine medium bomber Heinkel He 111 in the late H-16 and H-20 versions. The small 1:144 scale makes it an ideal model for a display case and for a quick build, yet Roden keeps the fine division of the skin. The package contains plastic parts, a clear canopy and decals for two color schemes.
The Heinkel He 111 was one of the mainstays of the German bomber force. The late H-16 and H-20 versions received heavier armor, modified defensive armament and newer radio equipment, or in some cases a short-term increase in engine power. Their trademark was the fully glazed nose, which gave the aircraft its unmistakable look. Aircraft of this line served above all on the Eastern Front.
In a small scale the key things are cleanly worked fuselage joints and careful fitting of the glazed nose. We recommend a thin glue, masking the glazing and an airbrush. The typical finish is a broken-up upper camouflage scheme with mottling and light undersides; a light accenting of the panels will give the model a sense of scale depth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
