Responsibility details are not available.
The Panavia Tornado is a two-seat combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed by the European Panavia consortium. The power comes from two turbofan engines with afterburners. The ECR version is adapted to suppressing enemy air defenses and to working with the electronic environment: it carries specialized equipment and anti-radiation armament for that, so it differs from the strike versions in external details as well.
A model set starter package: a kit in 1:144 scale supplemented by basic paints, a brush and glue. With the wing fully spread the finished model measures around ten centimeters across and around twelve centimeters in length. The number of parts, the position of the wing and the color options offered are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Dry-fit the seating of the wings before you reach for the glue; the sweep position sets how the finished model will look. Paint the cockpit with its two seats before closing the fuselage. In a small scale apply the paint in thin coats, otherwise the fine panel lines will be lost. Transfer the decals onto a gloss base and only then tie the surface together with a semi-matte varnish; bring out the panel lines with a fine wash shade applied onto a dry finish.
The set suits beginners who want everything needed in one package, and collectors of modern European combat aircraft. Tools and material beyond the contents of the package are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
