This is an injection-molded plastic kit of a twin-engined turboprop aircraft in the small 1:144 scale. The package holds plastic parts, decals and instructions; the model is intended to be glued and painted, and it is not a finished article. Amodel is a Ukrainian manufacturer known for a wide range of aircraft of Eastern design, with which it is often the only one to cover types that are missing elsewhere.
The PZL M28 Bryza is a Polish twin-engined high-wing monoplane with fixed landing gear, which came about on the basis of license production of the Antonov An-28 aircraft at the works in Mielec. Polish production gradually developed the type into versions of its own with reworked avionics and equipment. The Bryza version serves Polish naval aviation for patrolling over the sea, for reconnaissance and for rescue and transport duties. The design with a high-set wing, powerful turboprop engines and robust landing gear makes it possible to operate from short, unpaved strips, which is a practical advantage for coastal service.
Thanks to the scale the model is small, so take all the more care over the cleanliness of the joints and over the thin parts, such as the landing gear struts and the propeller blades. Try fitting the parts dry first, so that you know where the mating faces will need adjusting. Glue them with a thin cement for plastic, which wicks into the joint by capillary action, and on the cabin glazing use a glue for clear parts that does not fog. Apply a primer before painting, as it evens the surface out and reveals any imperfections in the filling. An airbrush is an advantage in this scale, because it keeps the coat of paint thin and does not fill the engraving in. Choose the particular color schemes and the placement of the decals according to the instructions in the package.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
