Decals of postwar RAF roundels in the red-and-blue form and of fin flashes, 1:144 scale, two sets in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
Decals of the Royal Air Force (RAF) for models in 1:144 scale: roundels in the red-and-blue form that the RAF used in the postwar years, and fin flashes for the vertical tail. The package contains two sets, so it will do for two models or leave a spare in case a decal is damaged. An overview of the sizes and the layout is in the instructions with the sheet.
Roundels of this type appeared on the upper surfaces and the sides of aircraft on which a prominent white field was not wanted. In 1:144 scale they suit transport as well as combat aircraft, and they can also be used to repair markings that are missing from a kit or are of poor quality.
Before you dip the sheet, check the instructions to see whether it is not a self-adhesive version; a self-adhesive film that has been dipped is ruined, whereas a wet decal that has not been dipped can be dipped later. With an ordinary wet decal, cut the motif out with its backing as close to the artwork as possible, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it stand until the film comes free. The base must be smooth and glossy, otherwise the decal will silver. Slide the motif into place, press the water out with a soft brush and blot the rest away. A decal softener will help the film settle onto the surface, but with small roundels in this scale proceed carefully so that the motif does not wrinkle. Overspray with matte varnish once dry.
For modelers of small scales who build British aircraft and want their markings sharp and consistent in color across the collection.
The model, paints and varnish are not included, unless stated otherwise.
