Responsibility details are not available.
A small diorama accessory from the Czech maker Brengun. It is not a model of a vehicle but furniture that makes a scene habitable, whether it is the corner of a hangar, a makeshift office, a crew station or seating in front of a building. In 1:144 scale a detail like this is exactly what gives a viewer a sense of scale and explains how big the models around it are.
A table with chairs works in any scene where human presence is to be suggested without figures having to stand on the base. It comes in on a field airfield, in a depot, by a station building, in an urban scene in front of a business and inside an open structure that can be seen into. It also looks good on its own as a small vignette rounded out with a few details, for instance a crate set down or papers spread out from a scrap of thin paper.
Build and paint the furniture away from the base and glue it on only once the terrain is finished. The legs of the table and the chairs are extremely delicate in this scale, so handle them with tweezers and never force them into place. Wooden surfaces are well imitated with a light beige base coat covered by a thin brown glaze, while the metal frames of the chairs take a dark steel color with a dry-brushed edge highlight. So that the furniture does not look factory fresh, add traces of chipped finish on the edges and floor dust on the legs.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
