Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale represents the British Westland Wessex helicopter in an edition focused on special and commemorative color schemes. Besides the plastic and clear parts, the package also holds small resin parts and a decal sheet with several striking marking options.
The Westland Wessex was a British licensed development of the Sikorsky S-58, a turbine-powered multirole helicopter. During its long service with the British armed forces it wore, alongside standard camouflage, a number of striking and commemorative finishes. It is exactly these unusual colors that this edition concentrates on.
Wash the small resin parts free of mold release agent residue, separate the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Striking schemes call for careful masking and a clean coat from an airbrush; before the decals, apply a gloss clear coat to the painted places so that the markings settle without silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
