A resin replacement for the early exhaust stacks of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb in 1:32 scale from Quickboost (a sister brand of Aires). It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the factory exhausts with sharply cast parts with hollowed mouths.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British fighter that played a key role in the Battle of Britain. The Mk.IIb version carried heavier armament and was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, whose characteristic exhaust stacks are among the prominent identifying features of the nose.
Separate the resin exhausts carefully from the casting block and clean them up. The best effect comes from the hollowed mouths and from painting them in a transition from dark metallic to rusty burnt shades, completed with fine pigment. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate; protect your airways when sanding.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and tools are not included.
