Romanian Hurricanes 1 — part 1 from Exotic Decals is a decal sheet with markings for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in Romanian service. It is the first part of a two-part range and an accessory to a model, not a kit.

A decal sheet in 1:48 scale with markings for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I operated by Romania. According to the name this is the first part of a two-part range — the second part came out on its own, so if you want the whole range of markings you need both sheets. The model is not included in the package; the decals are applied to a finished Hurricane Mk.I kit in the same scale.
The Hurricane Mk.I was a British fighter monoplane with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and of mixed construction — a tubular framework in the fuselage with fabric covering, and a wing with retractable landing gear. It was robust and easily repaired, and before 1940 it reached several export users outside Britain as well, among them the Romanian Air Force. Romanian machines carry a different camouflage and different national insignia from British ones, so a model built to this sheet looks markedly different beside an ordinary Royal Air Force Hurricane.
The decals are applied to a smooth glossy base. Let a painted model dry through thoroughly, go over it with gloss varnish and only then apply them — a matte surface under the decal film holds air and the edges go silvery and dull. Cut the motif out close to the edge of the print, soak it in lukewarm water, let the film release from the paper and slide it into place. Press the water out with a cotton bud from the middle toward the edges. Over fabric ribs, rivets and engraved lines use softener and then do not touch the decal until it has dried — some wrinkling is normal and evens itself out. Finally go over the whole model with matte or satin varnish, so that the glossy intermediate layer disappears.
An accessory to a model. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
