A three-dimensional puzzle of the giant desert machine viewers know from Star Wars and from the series The Mandalorian. It is not a classic plastic kit: the parts already have their finished shape and surface and join by snapping together, so the build is clean, quick and manages without tools. Thanks to its massive shape, the finished vehicle is one of the most striking decorations you can stand on a shelf.
The Sandcrawler is, in the film world, an enormous tracked machine with which the diminutive Jawas move about the deserts of the planet Tatooine. It serves them at once as a dwelling, a workshop and a mobile shop: they collect worn-out droids and spare parts in it and then sell them to the settlers. Characteristic of it are the wedge-shaped hull set on a wide tracked running gear and the lowering ramp at the front, through which cargo gets inside.
Assemble it on a flat surface and start with the running gear, which forms the basis of the whole model. Only then fit the walls of the hull and finally the upper superstructure. Push the parts in square and press them home until they engage; on large flat parts press evenly along the whole length of the joint rather than at a single point. Because of its size, carry the finished model with both hands from below.
The puzzle is supplied unassembled. The parts fit together by snapping, so you need no tools or other modeling supplies for the build.
