Czechoslovak helmet vz. 32 1:16 is a resin (3D-printed) Czechoslovak helmet for figures and dioramas. An accessory, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory made by 3D printing representing the Czechoslovak vz. 32 steel helmet at the large 1:16 scale. The set from the Czech maker Firma49 serves for fitting to figures and for bringing dioramas to life. It is not a model of equipment but a detail accessory.
The vz. 32 helmet was the standard steel helmet of the Czechoslovak army, brought in in 1932. It was used up to the occupation of the republic in 1939 and afterwards a number of other services took it over. In shape it follows the Central European helmets of the period, with a slightly lowered bowl and a short rim. At the large 1:16 scale the fine detail stands out.
Separate the part from the print supports; before trimming, it is worth dipping the resin briefly in hot water so that it softens. It is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. Wash the part before painting and apply a primer. A flat khaki to gray-green color suits a Czechoslovak helmet, and the patina can be picked out in the recesses with a wash.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package.
