Hexagon head screws 1:16 (Firma49)

A set of small hexagon head screws in 1:16 scale, used to detail joints, panels and structures faithfully on models and in dioramas. These are add-on parts, not a kit. Printed by SLA from modeling resin with a cleanly defined screw head.

Use and tips

  • Before taking the supports off, dip the parts briefly in hot water.
  • Separate the tiny parts carefully with a sharp knife and clean them up with respiratory protection.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) onto a cleaned surface.
  • A dark base and light polishing with metallic shades give a metal look.

For advanced modelers and builders in the large 1:16 scale who replace simplified screws with more faithful parts.

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
