It is an accessory to a model, not a kit of a vehicle and not a model of the weapon itself: you have to have the machine gun and its mount from the base model or from another set.
1:16 is one of the largest scales a modeler commonly meets. In it a .50 caliber round is no longer a shapeless bump but a separate object with a recognizable bullet, case and rim at the base. It is exactly here that the parts from an ordinary kit tend to be the weakest point: they tend to be simplified, joined into a block and marked by the parting line of the mold. Separate rounds make it possible to arrange the ammunition freely, for example in an open box, on the floor of the fighting compartment or in a figure's hand.
Separate the parts in small batches and over a tray, so that the tiny pieces do not get lost. Sand the marks left by separating them back with fine abrasive paper or a file. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue applied with a toothpick, not straight from the bottle. Degrease the surface before painting and spray a base coat. Brass cases and lead-dark bullets are told apart by the difference in shade alone; a fine dark wash then brings out the edges and transitions. Leave metallic shiny surfaces until last, as they are harder to paint over and to mask.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
