The name of a shade is a guide, not an exact definition. Different manufacturers mix noticeably different tones under a similar name, and on top of that a color appears differently on a monitor than in reality. Anyone building to a particular reference does best to compare the shade with their own photograph or with a chart they have built up themselves.
Planning the color scheme goes with that. Before you start spraying, go through the model and work out which areas will get which tone and in what order you will do them. On a build under way that saves you the situation where you have to come back to one part only because a neighboring area came later.
