Candy Emerald Green is an acrylic modeling paint of the Candy range. It does not work as a covering shade but as a toning coat applied over a smooth glossy metallic base. The metal shows through the paint and gives the finish its characteristic depth, which changes with the angle of view from a bright green to a more saturated one.
Where emerald green comes in
Emerald is lighter and livelier than bottle green, so it suits places where the finish is meant to catch the eye. It is used on custom car bodies, on the tanks of motorcycles, on gaming and sci-fi machinery and on figure armor that is meant to look like glossy enamel. On small parts it imitates green glass and precious stones well.
For modelers of cars and motorcycles, for builders of sci-fi machinery and for figure painters who want a strong glossy tone on armor or accessories. It is applied above all with an airbrush, because a translucent coat will not hide the marks of a brush.
Work in a ventilated room, use respiratory protection when spraying and close the container well after use. Keep out of the reach of children.
