Candy Cobalt Blue is an acrylic modeling paint of the Candy range. It is applied to a smooth glossy metallic base, which shows through it, and creates the candy effect: a finish with an inner depth that darkens in the shadows and lights up on the peaks of shapes with the metal beneath it.
Where cobalt comes in
Cobalt blue is deeper and more serious than electric blue. It sits well on the bodies of classic and modern cars, on the tanks of motorcycles, on helmets and on parts that are meant to look expensive and coherent. It is also used as a base under lighter blue transitions, because it lets the highlights applied over it stand out.
For modelers of cars and motorcycles and for builders who want a deep blue instead of a flat color out of a bottle. It is applied with an airbrush; with a brush an even translucent coat can be made only on very small areas.
Work in a ventilated room, use respiratory protection when spraying and close the container well after use. Keep out of the reach of children.
