Responsibility details are not available.
A license plate is a small thing on a car model, but one that everybody notices. A molded plate with no print looks empty, whereas a legible plate places the model in a particular country and gives it a story. This sheet brings European license plates in 1:24 scale, that is in the most widespread scale for models of cars and light commercial vehicles. The designation Vol.01 distinguishes the first volume within the series; which particular countries and which combinations of characters the sheet carries is shown by the illustration on the packaging.
An ordinary European license plate measures 520 by 110 millimeters. In 1:24 scale that comes out as a decal of roughly 21.7 by 4.6 millimeters, that is a strip smaller than the fingernail on your little finger. That is exactly why it pays to work with tweezers and to have good light to hand; the text on the plate is at the very limit of legibility at this size and it is easily damaged by rough handling.
Prepare the surface to a gloss, because on a matte surface air is trapped under the decal and the edge turns white. Cut the decal out close to the print, put it in lukewarm water and let it release from the paper; transfer it by sliding it, not by pulling on the print. Fine-tune the position with a drop of water, then draw off the excess with the edge of a paper towel. Once dry, varnish the whole thing so that the edge disappears and the plate looks like part of the body.
A decal sheet is supplied. A car model, varnish and decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
