Hobby Design issued this accessory in the shape of a sitting figure for 1:18 scale. The name sets the character by the name of Akira Nakai and the word in brackets makes clear that this is the sitting form, not the standing version carried separately.
A sitting character needs something to sit on, and it is exactly that which makes a scene interesting: a low wall, a tire laid on its side, the sill of an open door or a tool box. The height of the seat has to be hit right, otherwise the character either levitates or sinks in. It therefore pays to choose the support before you anchor the figure for good and to adjust its height by packing it up.
In a sitting pose the upper body and the face are the most visible, while the bottom of the legs often disappears into shadow - match the amount of work to that.
