The designation Super Detail-Up Set means an extensive package reaching into several areas of the model at once, not a single partial item. The set is not a kit of the car, and the basic plastic model has to be obtained separately.
What it is good for: on a Formula 1 car most of the engineering is left exposed. The suspension, the brakes, the driveshafts, the radiators and the fluid lines cannot be cast in scale thickness in a mass-produced plastic model. A detail set replaces those places with finer parts and the model then looks a class better in a display case.
The Ferrari F2003-GA was a Formula 1 car of the 2003 season with a naturally aspirated V10. The suffix in the designation refers to the initials of the group's long-serving chairman. The car ended the season with both main titles and is one of the classic subjects for builders of single-seaters.
First a dry test, only then any work on the plastic. Degrease the new parts, give them a primer coat and bond them with super glue in a minimal amount applied with the tip of a wire. Spray the red bodywork over a light base so that the shade keeps its saturation, and protect the finished paint during further handling, because the details often have to be fitted after painting.
This is not a model kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
