Top Studio 1:20 RB6 Chassis Front Bulkhead Detail Set is a detailing set for the front bulkhead of the monocoque of a model of the Red Bull RB6 formula car in 1:20 scale. It addresses one assembly of the model, not the build of the whole car.
Responsibility details are not available.
A targeted detailing set from the Japanese brand Top Studio for a model of the Red Bull RB6 formula car in 1:20 scale. It concentrates on the front bulkhead of the chassis tub, that is, on the place where the front suspension attaches to the monocoque and where a number of internal elements run. The set is not a kit of the car; the base plastic model is obtained by the modeler separately.
Why this place in particular: on a single-seater the front bulkhead is partly exposed and in the view from the front or from the side the viewer looks straight at it. Production plastic offers rather a flat wall with suggested elements here, because fine details could not be taken out of a mold. A detailing set brings this area to life without any need to rebuild the whole model.
It is fitted at an early stage of the build, before the tub is joined to the body and before the front suspension is mounted. After that this place is hard to reach, so there is no room for adding it later.
A dry test of the whole assembly first, and only then an intervention in the original part. Degrease the replacement elements, give them a base color and bond them with super glue applied with the tip of a wire, so that an excess does not run onto the neighboring surfaces. The dark areas of the tub come out well after fine drybrushing with a lighter shade, which brings out the edges. Finish the painting before you close the assembly up.
This is not a kit of a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
