A kit of the Boeing 767-300 airliner with winglets in the colors of the Japanese airline ANA, 1:200 scale. A version marking the anniversary of the 767 type.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Boeing 767-300 is a twin-engined wide-body airliner with turbofan engines slung under the wings. This version has winglets at the wingtips, that is upturned surfaces that reduce the losses arising at the end of the wing. The model carries the colors of the Japanese airline ANA in a special finish marking the anniversary of the 767 type.
The 1:200 scale is the usual one for airliners: even a large machine stays a sensible size in a display case, and a series of aircraft from different airlines then holds together. The list of parts, the decal sheet and the recommended build sequence are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The light finishes of airliners forgive little, so fill the fuselage joints and sand them back until the transition disappears under your finger. Apply the finish in thin layers; a heavy layer fills the fine engraving of the surface. The cockpit glazing is small in this scale, so mask it before spraying. Apply the decals only onto a dry gloss surface and press them down with a soft cloth so that no air is left under them; anniversary motifs tend to be large and are hard to put right.
The model will please collectors of airliners and anyone who wants a machine in the colors of a particular airline in a display case. In part count it is an undemanding build; the main work lies in the cleanliness of the finish and the precise application of the decals.
Paints, glue and additional decals are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
