A large Excel gouge blade with a V profile, two pieces in the package. Its wedge-shaped edge cuts a crisp V groove rather than a rounded channel.
Responsibility details are not available.
A gouge blade does not slice material, it scoops it out. A V profile means an edge shaped into a wedge, so the resulting groove has a sharp bottom and clearly readable edges. That is exactly what you need where a mold seam or an engraved line is meant to show, rather than a worn channel. According to the designation there are 2 pieces in the package and it is the large form, so it is a tool for a pronounced groove rather than for fine detail.
What it is used for
A V profile cuts a sharp wedge-shaped groove and suits lines that are meant to look like a mold seam. A U profile has a rounded bottom, makes a rounded channel and is used for soft transitions, scooping out material and shaping. Mixing them up means a seam will look like wear and a channel like an accidental cut.
Always use a guide. A line engraved freehand will never stay straight and it shows on a model at once. Lay a ruler against it or stick tape down and lead the blade along the edge. Remove material in layers and with short strokes, because a wedge-shaped edge bites in easily under pressure and runs off sideways, and a groove once cut will not close up again; it can only be filled. Cut away from your body and away from the hand holding the part.
Please compare the fitting with your own tools before buying.
