The RSR designation is carried by racing versions of Porsche built for the GT category, that is, machines derived from a road car but built for long endurance races. At Le Mans they start in larger numbers and individual cars of the same team differ mainly in race number and in details of the livery. This sheet is devoted to the pair of cars with race numbers 79 and 80 from the 2012 running.
This is a standalone decal sheet in 1:24 scale, that is, an accessory to a kit. According to the name it is cut for a kit from Fujimi; the exact kit designation and the extent of the sheet are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
GT car liveries tend to be busy, so it pays to work in sections and let each part dry. First give the body a gloss clear coat. Before you apply the elements, check in the instructions how they are transferred, in particular whether the sheet is soaked in water. Align the elements to the edges of the body while you can still move them and squeeze the air out from underneath with a soft cloth. Finally give the car an overcoat.
The set is for modelers who build modern endurance specials and want one particular car from Le Mans. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
