The set holds two sports seats of the slide-rail type in 1:24 scale. It is not a car kit, but a detail accessory for the interior of a model under way. Bucket seats with more pronounced side bolstering and with a base formed by guide rails belong to the typical equipment of modified road cars, so they suit builds in a tuning style as well as more civilian projects where a change to the interior is meant to show.
In ordinary car kits the seats tend to be shaped sparingly. They are often simplified, have soft edges and blend into the floor of the interior. A separately made seat has crisper transitions, readable stitching and a clear parting seam between the shell and the rails, which shows on a finished model above all through the side windows and open doors.
First try the parts dry in the floor of the interior and adjust the height of the rails as needed, so that the stance of the seat matches the position of the steering wheel and the dashboard. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a thin base, which matte shades hold on well. A fabric section looks better with very fine highlighting of the edges, while a leather version will on the contrary take a light satin sheen. Belts, anchor points and mounts are not included unless stated otherwise, so count on them as a separate purchase.
