Self-adhesive, precisely pre-cut painting masks from Art Scale in the express fit version for the kit of the Bristol Beaufort Mk.I torpedo bomber from ICM in 1:48 scale. The set is an accessory for painting, not a kit. The parts are numbered and ready for quick application as shown in the instructions. The double-sided version makes it possible to spray the glazing frames from the outside and from the inside.
The masks are applied to the canopy glazing and to the other areas that are to stay unpainted or are to be sprayed separately. The film follows the shapes of the frames, so the paint edges are sharp without the slow business of cutting tape. On the extensively glazed nose of this type accurate masking is particularly useful. The set is especially suited to an airbrush.
The Bristol Beaufort Mk.I was a British twin-engine torpedo bomber of the Second World War, powered by Bristol Taurus radial engines. It served mainly with Coastal Command in attacks on enemy shipping.
The masks are neither paint nor a model. The ICM kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
