An injection-molded plastic kit of the American carrier attack aircraft Martin AM-1 Mauler in the early form, in 1:72 scale from the A and A Models brand. The set tends to be complemented by photo-etched parts and masks, which make the fine finishing of a smaller model easier.
The Martin Mauler was a single-seat carrier attack aircraft of the US Navy. It came into being at the very end of the Second World War, but because of development delays it entered service only after it. It was an exceptionally robust machine able to carry a large load of bombs, rockets and torpedoes, although it remained in the shadow of a more successful competitor and stayed in service only briefly.
Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate and the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Apply a base coat before painting; an airbrush suits the naval blue-gray scheme. The masks supplied make clean spraying of the glazing easier. Assemble the rich external stores according to the configuration you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
