The Wing Gundam is the title machine of the Gundam Wing series, that is, of the branch of the whole Gundam world that takes place outside the main story line. It differs from the other machines at first glance: it has a slender silhouette, large wings and a long rifle, so it looks quite different on a shelf from the stockier subjects of the original series.
These goods are a plastic model from the world of Gundam. The code given after the name in brackets is the supplier designation; it is worth checking, because the same machine is also made in another rendering under a different code. The extent of the parts, the way it is assembled and everything the package contains are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging and in the instructions. Go by them for when each section is to be painted as well.
Go by the instructions in the package. Separate the parts gradually, always just before you are going to work with them, and sand the remaining nub down after separating. Wash and degrease them before painting. Use paints intended for plastic models and apply them in thin layers; the thinner and the thinning ratio follow the instructions from the paint maker. With the wings it pays off to paint them separately from the body and to join them only at the end, because in the assembled state their inner side is hard to reach.
The model will please collectors and modelers who follow the world of Gundam and want a striking silhouette in a collection. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
