This is a turned metal barrel in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer RB Model. It is not a model but a precise accessory, an upgrade which replaces the plastic barrel in the base kit. The barrel represents the Soviet 122mm D-30 L/38 howitzer, used as a towed gun as well as on self-propelled chassis. It is supplied as a separate turned part.
Even in the small 1:72 scale the metal barrel has a perfectly circular cross section with no mold seams and a clean muzzle, which is what shows most on thin gun barrels. It replaces the original plastic barrel, which has to be removed from the model.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
