Masks for the landing gear bays of a McDonnell F-4 Phantom II model in 1:72 scale. They let you spray the bays separately from the airframe.
Responsibility details are not available.
The McDonnell F-4 Phantom II was one of the most widespread combat aircraft of its day. The two-seat supersonic machine was created for carrier service, but it also served with land-based air forces and with a number of foreign operators. Many versions were built and they differ in equipment and in details of shape, so it is always a good idea to compare accessories for Phantom kits with the particular model.
Masks for the landing gear bays of a model in 1:72 scale. The ready-made shape removes the need to cut tape and to finish the edge with a brush. The bays of the Phantom are large and intricate, so a separately sprayed interior tends to show in the result more on this type than on small machines. The name itself does not identify the kit, so check in the manufacturer's instructions that you have the right item.
Wash and degrease the surface, otherwise the mask does not hold and the paint creeps under. Apply it before spraying, press the edges down with a blunt tool and spray in thin coats. Lift the mask off as soon as the coat has set; on cured paint the edge peels away less easily. Choose the shade of the inside of the bays according to the references for the machine you are building.
The aircraft kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
