A separate accessory in 3D-printed resin in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It is not a model but a faithful ammunition box for the Soviet DShK heavy machine gun of 12.7 mm caliber. Fine printing preserves the details of the lid and the surface even in this smaller scale, and it suits vehicles, weapon emplacements and dioramas alike.
The ammunition box serves as an accessory for models with the DShK weapon and as a small element of a scene. The DShK machine gun was among the most widespread Soviet heavy weapons, and its equipment rounds out the credibility of vehicles and emplacements.
Before separating the supports, drilling or cutting, dip the part in hot water as the manufacturer recommends; the resin softens slightly, chipping is reduced and once cooled it regains its original hardness. Given the small size of the part in 1:48, work with tweezers and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
