1:35 FIM-92 Stinger Missile Box (2 pcs) is a modeling accessory in 1:35 scale - a pair of transport boxes for the FIM-92 Stinger anti-aircraft missile.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings two transport boxes for the FIM-92 Stinger anti-aircraft missile in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model or a weapon kit but a separate accessory that will serve as cargo on a truck bed, as equipment in a diorama or as a detail beside crew figures. The number of pieces is given in the name of the set itself, and the full contents are stated on the packaging of the set.
The FIM-92 Stinger is an American man-portable anti-aircraft missile with infrared guidance, taken into service in the 1980s and still used by a number of armies today. The missile is stored and transported in a sealed container and is taken out of it only when being prepared for use. Boxes of this type are therefore found with light vehicles, with airborne units and with anti-aircraft crews.
First separate the parts carefully, clean up the mating surfaces and wash them in lukewarm soapy water before painting. A base color, then the main shade over it and finally a fine wash into the engraving and the edges prove their worth. Apply the lettering and markings with a thin brush or by dry transfer. A scene looks credible when the boxes are not lined up in a regular row; leave some of them open, leaning or lying on their side.
This is an add-on set, not a model of a vehicle or a weapon.
