Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory set represents the cases for 25 mm ammunition for the M242 Bushmaster automatic cannon in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of a vehicle but an accessory used as cargo, as part of a supply scene or as a detail beside a crew. The cases fill out vehicles armed with this cannon as well as dioramas with ammunition ready to replenish the combat load.
The M242 Bushmaster is an American 25 mm automatic cannon with external drive to the feed. It is the main weapon of the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and of its cavalry version, as well as of the LAV-25 wheeled armored vehicle. Its ammunition comes in belts held in transport cases, which the crew handles when replenishing stocks. It is exactly cases like these that appear in dioramas at the rear of a vehicle, on the bed of a supply truck and beside figures while loading.
Clean the parts up, wash them in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry thoroughly. A base coat follows, then the base shade and a gentle lift of the edges with a dry brush. Metal cases take wear well: suggest the rubbed places with a dark shade or with graphite, and dirty the lower part with pigments to match the setting you are building the scene in. The catches and handles look better once you bring them out with a thin wash.
This is an accessory set, not a model of a vehicle.
